As an ode to the mother of two young children, who has toiled, sacrificed, and given children more than that can ever be imagined, it is unfortunate that the mother has been diagnosed with Acute Myelofribrosis. CauseanEffect Foundation supported Mrs. Rajyalakshmi who has been suffering from this dreaded disease for the past 3 months. She has been advised to undergo Bone Marrow Transplantation at the earliest. The cost of her treatment was roughly around Rs. 10 lakhs. Mrs. Rajyalakshmi hails from a very poor family and has two growing children and cannot afford the huge medical bills. She is currently being treated at Christian Medical College & Hospital at Vellore (CMC, Vellore ).
CauseanEffect Foundation has funded part of her treatment and has been taking care of the medical expenses.
